Mountains
Mountains are bigger than hills and are very high above sea level. Making it tower above every form of land. When mountain are kind of close together their called mountain ranges. Many farmer depend on the rivers miles away formed but the snow melting off the peaks. Mountains effect the cities and people around if. May people have no energy to climb mountains to get to the other side so different countries are closed off from each other. Mountains also effect the temperature and climates around areas.
Plains
Plains are mostly very flat, but they may contain so rolling hills. Plains are very wide and expansive making them very valuable to farmers. Some rivers bring water and minerals down and they deposit. This is called alluvium. Plains are located just a little about sea level. Alluvium plains are the breadbaskets of nations.
Plateaus
Plateaus are much like plains but they are more risen. They have many hills, mountains and deep canyons. Steep cliffs and slopes are all around it.
The Grand Canyon is an example of one of the largest plateaus. Most plateaus are called highlands. Plateaus contain not much resources, only animals that graze really live here.
